Run your board like a pro

Who’s an admin and how that’s granted, every admin command on Telegram and Discord, the web dashboard, and a quick moderation playbook.

Who’s an admin

You don’t assign board admins by hand — Quillboard mirrors your community’s own admin list. On Telegram, the group creator and any administrator get admin powers; on Discord, the server owner or anyone with Administrator or Manage Server. In a Telegram DM, each person admins their own personal board.

Auto-revoke on demote. Removing someone’s Telegram/Discord admin drops their board-admin role and their dashboard access on their next interaction — the bots re-derive admin from your live admin list every time. Admin powers are strictly per-community: a group-B admin can never touch group-A’s items.

Admin commands — Telegram

Admin commands — Discord

The web dashboard

Three ways to sign in: the bot /dashboard magic-link (community admins, no password), Continue with Discord on /login, or email + password for the platform owner. Admins can browse suggestions, roadmap and analytics; change status; use the review queue, audit log and members list; publish changelog; merge, assign and moderate; and manage community settings and billing.

Pro/Scale features add integrations, API keys + CSV/JSON export, a shareable public board, multiple boards, surveys/NPS, bulk import, internal staff notes, categories & tags, and (Scale) weighted voting and demand-by-company insights.

Moderation playbook

Spam or abuse from a member/warn (3 = auto-ban), or /ban / /mute.
Repeated bad words/blockword <term> — admins are exempt from the filter.
Duplicate suggestions/merge <dup> <canonical> — votes consolidate.

Every admin action is written to the audit log (visible in the dashboard). For the full member command list, see the docs overview.
