Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-23
Quillboard uses the smallest set of cookies needed to run the service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don’t sell your data.
Strictly-necessary cookies
- Admin sign-in. An HttpOnly session/refresh token keeps you signed in to the web dashboard. Without it you can’t stay logged in.
- Public-board participation. If a community enables anonymous or SSO participation, a signed HttpOnly cookie (
qb_anon/qb_sso) identifies your session so your votes and comments are attributed consistently and can’t be stuffed.
Payment cookies
During a paid checkout, our payment providers (Stripe / PayPal) set their own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. These are governed by those providers’ policies and are only involved when you upgrade.
The bot
The Telegram/Discord bots set no cookies at all — they run entirely inside chat.
See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data more broadly, or contact [email protected] with any questions.
