Refund & Cancellation Policy

Subscriptions & auto-renewal

Paid plans are billed per community via Stripe or PayPal and renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout. There is a free tier so you can evaluate Quillboard before paying.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from the dashboard’s billing settings. Cancellation stops all future charges; your paid features remain active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then the community returns to the free tier. We don’t delete your data on cancellation.

Changing plans

Upgrading or downgrading between paid tiers takes effect immediately and is prorated by the payment provider against your current period.

Refunds

Because you can cancel anytime and keep access through the period you paid for, fees already paid for a completed or in-progress period are generally non-refundable — except where a refund is required by law, or at our discretion for a genuine billing error (for example, a duplicate charge). If you were charged in error, contact us and we’ll make it right.

EU/EEA consumers

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for a new subscription. Where that right applies and you haven’t waived it by starting to use the paid features, contact us within 14 days of your purchase for a refund of that charge. Your mandatory statutory rights are not affected by this policy.

Chargebacks

If something looks wrong on your bill, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Opening a chargeback may result in the associated community’s paid features being suspended while the dispute is investigated.
